Kid’s Inaugural Concert was filled with excitement and screams from teen fans of the star-studded event. The concert was limited to Military families, but the event was streamed LIVE on the Official Inauguration website.

The night started of with some a familiar group known in the DC area – Washington Nationals mascots and the host for the night – Nick Cannon. Then, the show heated up with Usher singing some of his well-known songs – “Yeah”, “Oh, My Gosh” and “Without You”.
Next to hit the stage was Far East Movement who rocked the Washington Convention Center with a clean version of “Live My Life”. Then, America’s Got Talent 2011 Finalist - ILuminate entertained the crowd with signature glow in the dark dance moves.
Throughout the night, video messages from Ryan Seacrest, Kerry Washington, David Letterman and Ellen DeGeneres played on a wall screen in the concert hall. Jimmy Fallon sent a message as Harry Styles from One Direction. Tons of Disney star and the Yo Gabba Gabba crew as they gave their video thanks to military troops and their families.
Black Violin and Soul Children of Chicago performed together.
The place was filled with screams when Mindless Behavior took the stage and performed “My Girl” and “Mrs. Right”. Next was the Glee cast who performed some songs before bringing Soul Children of Chicago back on stage for a number.
The main event was Katy Perry. The first daughter were rocking to the songs “Firework”, “Part of Me”, “Wide Awake” and “Teenage Dream”.
Katy Perry, Usher, Far East Movement, Black Violin and the Glee Cast will perform on Monday at the Official Inaugural Balls.
