Katy Perry Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

Pop sensation Katy Perrywill bring her “California Dreams 2011 World Tour” Louisville’s newest multi-purpose arena, the KFC Yum! Centeron Saturday, Sept. 10 with special guests Janelle Monáeand DJ Skeet Skeet. The KFC Yum! Center is a sister facility of the Kentucky Exposition Center. Tickets for this sure to be exciting show go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, April 22.

Perry added the Sept. 10 stop and several additional dates to the North American leg of her world tour that already includes sold-out shows in across the U.S., Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Her most recent single, “E.T.,” from her Grammy-nominated album “Teenage Dream” has solidified its place at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three weeks and counting. “E.T.” follows the lead of Perry’s other hit singles, “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream” and “Firework,” by capturing the No. 1 spot. The album “Teenage Dream” is also setting milestones as it’s the first album in more than six years to yield four No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the first by a solo female artist in almost two decades since Mariah Carey did so with her debut album in 1990-1991. Also, it is only the ninth album to produce four No. 1 hits in the 52-year history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Perry’s Sept. 10 show at the KFC Yum! Center will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is produced by The Messina Group / AEG Live. Tickets may be purchased for $48 and $38, reserved seating with a ticket limit of six tickets per household. Ticket price includes facility fee. Tickets will be available for purchase at the KFC Yum! Center, the Kentucky Exposition Centerand the Kentucky International Convention Center Ticket Offices. Tickets will also be available for purchase at all Ticketmaster outlets, through Ticketmaster Charge by Phone at 1-800-745-3000 and online at www.ticketmaster.com.
