Katy Perry's split for the second time with John Mayer is followed by Katy's ex-husband, Russell Brand, going down memory lane about his "shaky" marriage to the broken-hearted singer. While Brand was co-hosting the XFM Teenage Cancer Trust show yesterday, his fellow co-hosts got some digs in about his short nuptials, according to Yahoo OMG! on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
Brand, who arrived at his wedding to Katy on an elephant at the ceremony in India, said to his co-hosts, “That marriage was shaky from the get-go, before I'd even got off the elephant.” He continued saying “It was a drag, man.” This comes on the heels of Katy's failed relationship with John Mayer after seven months together.
Katy appears to be taking the breakup the hardest, as she's hiding out and depending on friends for moral support. Mayer on the other hand was out dining with a female companion over the weekend and he was all smiles.
Unfortunately for Katy, many a notable name before her have parted ways with Mayer and set in at home for their heartbreak to heal. He's even had a song written about him and another one of his breakups, just ask Taylor Swift.
