Katy Perry added 15 new shows to the Prismatic World tour and on Monday she announced she is giving back to charity too. The entertainer is getting ready to hit the road and in the process wants to have as many great performances as possible for the fans to enjoy. With the new concert dates announced by the star personally on Monday, fans were flocking to buy tickets, but there is a charitable aspect to the Prismatic tour too.

Katy Perry announced that proceeds from every ticket sold will got to UNICEF. The decision actually had fans delighted to hear as UNICEF offers help to people in need, particularly kids who need food and medicine.

“And remember! One dollar from every ticket goes to @ UNICEF - you're doing your part to share the light!” tweeted Katy Perry from her official Twitter account on Monday. The charitable announcement was a welcomed surprise as everyone wants to do their part to help the word.

The Prismatic World tour is expected to be Katy Perry’s best tour yet. Offering her classic songs as well as hits off her new album, the star will be singing for the fans. Add the stage is perfect for seeing the star (even in the nosebleed seats) and it’s a great idea for the perfect summer concert!
