On Feb. 10, Katy Perry was in her full fashion glory as she walked the Grammys 2013 red carpet. During her pit shop with E! Entertainment News, the "Wide Awake" singer talked with Ryan Seacrest before heading into the Staples Center. She talked to him about her mint green gown that was embellished with a very obvious hole filled with breasts that were popping out of the dress.
According to Yahoo! via Us magazine, Perry was wearing Gucci but she told Ryan that her look on Sunday, which included her locks, now black and done up in a 1960s big hairstyle, was in homage to Priscilla Presley during her Elvis period. However, the frock she picked looked more revealing than what was worn back in the hippie era, although The King would surely have liked this very sexy look with its very slinky silhouette.
During the event, this California girl was on the arm of singer John Mayer, her on-and-off boyfriend, He was wearing a bright purple suit, complimenting his date's mint green gown and very obvious cleavage.
Meanwhile, Katy Perry was continuing her fondness for retro fashion which she showed off the previous day as well.
During a pre-Grammy party on Feb. 9, the "Hot or Cold" singer donned a 1950s style dress that was worn in a strange way as the frock was unzipped half way down her back. Nobody but Katy knows why she didn't have the pretty pink cocktail dress altered before going out in that manner, but this celebrity who is a known fashionista didn't seem to mind not wearing the garment in the traditional way.
Unzippered aspect aside, the dress was very pretty, matched with sky high Louboutins that would have made her tower over John Mayer had he been at this gathering. He wasn't, although he showed up later in the evening for the Clive Davis gathering at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
At that particular party, an annual event in Tinseltown, Katy Perry wore a dress that was a bit more modern and a bit more demure. She had on a cream-colored gown that appeared to be made of pearls.
The long sleeved frock, fashioned by Rafael Cennamo, didn't show any bare cleavage but did hug the singer's amazing body in a way that transformed Katy Perry into a Hollywood goddess who probably received many compliments regarding what she wore during that huge Grammys 2013 fashion fest where everybody who's anybody in Tinseltown turned up.
