Katy Perry and Rihanna are not close friends any longer because the "Fireworks" singer "doesn't approve" of Chris Brown, a report claimed Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The former good pals, are now estranged because Katy, 28, is not happy that Rihanna, 24, is back with Chris, who beat her to a pulp back in 2009 Us Weekly reported. "They aren't tight anymore because Katy doesn't approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown," an insider told Us.
Unlike last year's Grammys, the two singers did not hang out together, instead, Katy spent the evening with her boyfriend, John Mayer, while Rihanna watched the awards as she cuddled up to Chris, 23. The controversial pop star reportedly had her hands all over Chris as the two put on quite the love-fest.
Rihanna and Chris continued their PDA show at the Grammys Zing Vodka after party, which was held at Supperclub in Hollywood. The pair was allegedly photographed there by TMZ while sharing a marijuana joint as they hung out with other friends.
