The blue hair may have thrown some people for a loop, but Katy Perry still delivered a performance to remember at the 54th Grammy Awards show in Hollywood. The Daily Motion featured a film clip of the blue hair on their website. The fans however are used to the various hair colors of Katy Perry and were far more interested in her new song, Part of Me.
Katy's song was a bit more intense than usual. Katy has recently had more of a Barbie Doll look, which prompted one viewer to ask, "Is that Nicki Minaj?" After realizing it was Katy Perry the question was asked, "Is she usually that outlandish?"
Dressed in what appeared to be super hero costume, Katy Perry took the stage by storm. Dancing and singing, with flames and backup crew the song was intriguing.
Katy did not just stop at her performance, which is seen in the left column video box. Katy Perry earlier had posted to her social media account, "Thanks to Sir Paul McCartney for inviting me to give my spin on “Hey Jude” As Eddie Izzard said tonight, your songs are eternal!"
It has been great to see the mixture of old and new talents at the awards show. The mixing up of talent is something that enriches everyone.
