Katy Perry has some of the most devoted fans of any major Hollywood celebrity, and she recently got a reminder of exactly how obsessed some of her fans are. A story by ABC News Tuesday revealed that Perry recently faced off against one of her super fans on a recent episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

During the competition, the “Roar” singer and her fan raced to answer questions about Perry’s professional and personal life. Not surprisingly, Perry went into the competition feeling extremely confident, but she was quickly taken aback when her competitor jumped into an early lead. While Perry was able to battle her way back to a tie, the fan proved to be too much for the starlet. When the dust settled, the fan had proven that she truly knew Katy Perry better than herself.

The fan’s strong performance could only be attributed to years of devotion. The fan’s name was revealed to be Emily, and while there is little known about her, a few interesting facts were found. In particular, she had devoted an entire wall in her room to Perry, but said she was forced to take it down because of complaints from her boyfriend. For her impressive performance, the super fan received an autographed pillow and tight hug from Perry.

A story by The Daily Mail reports she wore a form fitting dress that had a teal top and horizontal black and white stripes on the bottom. The teal top perfectly matched her “slime green” hair that she has been sporting for the past couple of weeks. Furthermore, the story reports that she took ample time to stop along her way to the studio to sign autographs for fans that were waiting.

If you were a celebrity, how would you feel if you lost a trivia competition about yourself to a fan?
