Katy Perry has aligned her beauty as a CoverGirl celebrity spokesperson along with musicians Pink, Taylor Swift, and Janelle Monáe, who also appeared on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend; Katy Perry graced the SNL stage October 12.
The “Roar” singer tweeted the beautiful CoverGirl news on Wednesday and appears to be ecstatic with her life’s latest decisions.
According to Billboard, Katy Perry will appear in ads for CoverGirl’s spring 2014 campaign, however this is not her first venture into the beauty world. Perry has partnered with Coty to create her third fragrance and has also fashioned a line of eyelashes with Eylure. Perry’s fourth album, “Prism”, scheduled for release on October 22, combined with the news of the singer as the latest face of CoverGirl is a brilliant coup for the cosmetics company. In the statement below, Katy Perry feels the combination of makeup and music will inspire her fans.

The CoverGirl launch encapsulates Katy Perry’s natural beauty. It will be interesting to see where the cosmetics brand take’s the pop star’s new edge in its spring campaign.
