It's no secret that Katy Perry's fashion style is as unpredictable as it is unique, but her concert wardrobe is what seems to wow audiences the most.
Like any Cher fan, many of Katy Perry's fans will agree that her wild costumes are almost as important to the show than Perry's performance. Actually, many would agree that her costumes ARE the performance. In her last tour, Part of Me, she wore a brassiere that lit up and did things that not even Madonna's famous traffic cone bra could do. Perry also paraded around stage in over-sized peacock feathers and, most surprising, used magic tricks to change outfits in 10 seconds!
Perry's upcoming 2014 tour, Prismatic, will reflect that of her latest music videos which can be seen right now on Katy Perry's video channel on Vevo. But not all the Prism songs have been released onto video, so what outfits will she premiere for all those other songs?
The most popular song to be released from her Prism album is 'Roar' (2013, Capitol Records). The song relates to how she became a weak, gullible Hollywood newcomer to this strong, independent, successful artist. In the music video, she acts as a female Tarzan wearing a leopard crop top and, most recently, sported the same sassy style at the 2013 MTV Music Video Awards. Since then, leopard has been a popular trend amongst teen girls and young adults.
You can get the same sporty but sexy look at stores such as Charlotte Russe located in many Chicago area malls and shopping centers as well as nation wide. And you can get the whole look for under $50!
Even more exciting, Perry is coming back to Chicago at the United Center for her Prismatic tour. Those who went to her Part of Me concert are no stranger to how fun the fashion was. And for those who have never experienced Katy Perry in person are sure in for a stylish treat. To see all the fashion, go check her out this August!
