Pop singer Katy Perry unveiled the artwork for her new album "Prism" on Friday. When she dropped by "Good Morning America," Perry revealed the glowing album cover on the Jumbotrons in New York City, Idolator.com reports.
The "Prism" album cover shows Perry sitting in a field while basking in the glow of the sun. While the new album was thought to feature darker material, Katy later revealed that she "let the light in" with "Prism." Considering her words, the cover definitely reflects that musical outlook.
Perry first previewed "Prism" with her latest no. 1 single, "Roar." She released her music video for the track yesterday. In the vibrant clip, she embraces her wild side to brave a treacherous jungle, taking on a mighty tiger. The next song she will release from the album, "Dark Horse," will drop on September 17.
Perry's "Prism" album will be released on October 22.
