The People.com reported on Feb 17, 2013, that singer Katy Perry was spotted leaving her Valentine's meal with lover John Mayer sporting an engagement ring.
It was not confirmed if its an engagement ring, but it looked like a heart shaped ruby on the finger reserved for engagement rings.
The 28-year-old singer was spotted leaving Vincenti in Brentwood on Valentine's Day along with her boyfriend John Mayer wearing a ruby ring on her left hand.
Katy Perry was seen wearing a cream and red colored full-length gown at The Cut restaurant in Brentwood, California.
Her 35-year-old boyfriend John Mayer wearing a casual jeans jacket was seen escorting her from the hotel.
The Dailymail quoted one of Perry's close friend as saying, "A source said: 'Katy has never been happier.
"She’s in a really good place with John. Katy’s parents also really like John. They prefer him over Russell.
"They thought Russell was too temperamental."
