Katy Perry did her part over the weekend during the festivities of the Obama inauguration. The successful artist entertained the families of the military on Saturday night during a special concert, but she didn't just leave after that. Sticking around she was seen with John Meyer on the platform of the U.S. Capitol during the swearing in ceremony. Then Katy Perry was invited to a private party at the White House on Monday night that impressed the star. Dishing on the moment with her fans, apparently all parties in the future will be judged by this particular moment.
“Just left the White House. All other parties from here on out will be judged unless they take place at the White House,” tweeted Katy Perry from her official Twitter account. The star definitely has been to dozens of parties around the world, so if she thinks it is the best then it probably is the best.
The Hollywood stars that took part in the festivities over the inaugural weekend had everyone’s attention. Not only did Katy Perry perform so did Usher, Mana, Marc Anthony, Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé, Jamie Foxx and even Jennifer Hudson. Sharing their talent with the world, the artists set the tone for the different scheduled events.
