Katy Perry has dismissed claims that she's working on a no holds barred autobiography.
It was said that the 28-year old singer, real name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, had signed a $3m deal to publish her memoirs, which was set to include details on her one-year marriage to British comedian, Russell Brand.
A source of British newspaper The Sun was credited as earlier this week saying "Several publishers have been after Katy for a while. She decided to go ahead so fans don't have a one-sided story when Russell publishes another 'Booky Wook'" ("My Booky Wook" and "Booky Wook 2" being the titles of Brand's autobiographies.
However, a spokesperson for the "I Kissed a Girl" singer told E! News that the rumor is absolutely 'not true'.
Since the split, on which Brand filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, Katy has begun seeing musician John Mayer, while Brand has been linked to several women.
