Katy Perry and John Mayer have called it quits for the second time, a report revealed late on Tuesday, March 19.
According to People magazine, sources close to the situation have confirmed that it is over for the famous pair, saying that they have parted ways again.
Katy, 28, and John, 35, had been dating since the summer of last year, but broke up for a short while before getting back together in September. Once they began dating again, however, Katy and John seemed to have kicked their relationship into high gear. The couple spent Christmas together with Katy's family, while John presented her with a ruby ring last month.
On one very recent occasion, John spoke about being very happy in his relationship with Katy, and even mentioned marriage.
No specific reason has been revealed for the split yet, but other insiders told Us Magazine that, "It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out." Meanwhile, another source adds that Katy is "leaving the window open," and that both her and John have been very focused on work lately.
