Katie Holmes has decided to chase her first dream of following in her father's footsteps and enroll in law school. According to Yahoo! Entertainment and Cover Media Feb. 10, Holmes wants to be a good role model for daughter Suri and show her that there is life outside of Hollywood and New York City “fancy dinners’ and events.
Sources told Star magazine that Katie doesn’t want Suri thinking that all there is in life is going for “fancy dinners and wear designer clothes.” Katie “doesn’t want to be in the public eye just for being a celeb – she wants to leave her mark.” Sounds like she wants the world to know there is life after “Dawson’s Creek.”
Since her divorce from Tom Cruise and the cancellation of her Broadway show “Dead Accounts” Holmes is leery of Hollywood and unsure about continuing with acting. She tried to venture into New York Fashion Week only to be derailed by snowstorm Nemo. The source says Katie is just sick of it all and is ready to do “what she originally set out to do” in life and that was to “father her father into the legal world.”
