Katie Holmes has been named one of the 21st century’s sexiest women by GQ, thanks to a striptease she performed in the supernatural thriller “The Gift.” This film was not made recently post-Tom Cruise split, but rather as a 22 year-old ingenue while still starring in "Dawson's Creek."
The men’s magazine "GQ" said the then 22-year-old Holmes, who won an army of admirers playing Joey Potter in “Dawson’s Creek,” had “the same Joey Potter tics: head tilts, shoulder shrugs up, lips chew down into a lopsided grin,” adds The New York Daily News.
"Her role as a promiscuous small town girl in Sam Raimi’s 2000 film saw her peel off her shirt to reveal her breasts for a sexual rendezvous with Greg Kinnear’s character," adds The News.
The “Dead Accounts” actress was crowned GQ's third Sexiest Woman of the Century, beating J-Lo, Britney Spears, Eva Mendes and Halle Berry. Some less predictable ladies also made the cut, including Jenna Bush, Paula Broadwell and Amanda Knox. First place went to Beyonce, who proved her credentials on the racy cover and in a photo spread for the magazine. Jennifer Aniston was named “The Second Hottest Woman of Every Year."
