Kate Holmes is a no show at New York Fashion Week. The Huffington Post broke the shocking news on Jan. 29. They reported that the actress has decided not to join the festivities.
Katie's collection, Holmes & Yang, is not on the Fashion Week schedule. Women's Wear Daily also broke the news that Holmes will be sitting it out at New York Fashion Week. It's not sure what it means for the her spring 2013 collection.
There is no reason why Katie is deciding to sit it out. The actress has been laying low since her divorce to actor Tom Cruise. Still, she's been spotted on late night talk shows and "Project Runway: All Stars."
It could be that Holmes' schedule is packed at the moment. She finished the Broadway show, "Dead Accounts." She also became the new face for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Alterna Haircare.
Katie Holmes is also busy taking care of her daughter, Suri. Since she has sole custody, she is spending more time with her daughter. It sounds like the actress could use a little break.
