Katie Holmes on dating again after split with Tom Cruise, feels nervous according to an article at the Huffington Post from yesterday. The 34-year-old actress split from Cruise ten months ago, allegedly after having enough of his controlling ways.Sources say Holmes is taking time out from dating to heal "from the emotional scars" she has from been left with from her marriage.
“Katie’s in a dilemma, because she wants to date but is concerned where it could lead to from there,” says the source, "She’s worried that if she commits herself fully to another man, she will have to give up the freedom she’s enjoying so much at the moment. As a single woman, she has no one controlling her nowadays, telling her what to do or who to see and she absolutely loves it!"
The source said Holmes "doesn’t want to be alone for the rest of her life," but for now she has 6-year-old daughter Suri to keep her on her toes.
“Katie’s got Suri for the time being, and she is her best friend, but she does eventually want to find a man she can be that close with as well," the source explained. “She’s just a little nervous and cautious about relationships still right now."
Katie and Suri spent quality time together over the weekend. The pair went to see Cinderella on Broadway, and even got to go backstage to meet the cast.
