Katie Holmes might be looking for a new man, but it isn't Jake Gyllenhaal. The rumors over the New Year’s Day holiday appear to be greatly exaggerated as the two apparently aren't dating. On Wednesday the rep for Katie Holmes told Gossip Cop that the actress currently isn't dating and definitely not dating Jake Gyllenhaal.
The new first broke that the two stars might be dating on Tuesday. Suggesting that Katie Holmes and Jake Gyllenhaal were hanging out at the private residence of a West Village apartment in New York, the two weren’t ever seen in public.
Over the past few weeks Katie Holmes has been dealing with a changing future. After her Broadway play Dead Accounts was cut short, the star has been under the microscope on what she might be doing next. Cutting the play short by seven weeks, it appears the star will have some free time or might even pick up a few new projects to fill in her immediate schedule opening.
