Katie Couric is freaked out after 911 calls were made from her late-husband's phone line inside her home. On Feb. 14, FOX News reported that Couric told her "Katie" audience about the strange calls made in the middle of the night on Tuesday -- which was the third time this has happened on a Tuesday... at the same time.
"It’s happened like three times the last three weeks. Every day, every time at 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning. I was out of town the last time it happened and apparently it happened before when nobody was home," Katie said.
The Katie Couric 911 calls have caused police to respond. According to authorities, 911 has been dialed about 10 times and each time, a patrol car showed up at Katie's place. Couric has sought answers by going to Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and asking him for help. She really wants to know why this keeps happening.
Because the calls are coming from Katie's late-husband's phone line, it is very eery for her. Many wonder why she still has the phone line open, but she didn't say. She could make the problem go away by disconnecting the phone -- however, an investigation has been opened to find out whether or not Katie is being pranked.
Hopefully the Katie Couric 911 calls are figured out soon.
