Katie Couric 911 calls disturbing. According to a report at the Denver Post from earlier today, TV show, Katie Couric, is disturbed by 911 calls which have been leading authorities to her home.
Couric told the audience of her taped show that someone keeps calling 911 every Tuesday morning, and since the calls are originating from a number with her address listed, authorities continuously show up at her home.
The calls are originating from a land-line within Couric's home that happened to be the private line of her late husband, Jay Monahan. The TV personality told the audience at a recording of her show 'Katie' that “It’s happened like three times the last three weeks,” and say's, “Every day, every time at 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning. I was out of town the last time it happened and apparently it happened before when nobody was home,” she said.
Authorities are investigating the phone calls to find out if there is something wrong with her phone, or, if Katie Couric is the victim of a high-tech prankster.
She is currently waiting on results from the investigation.
