Kathy Wakile has released a new cookbook about desserts, but the sweet creations are turning bitter for one member of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Wetpaint reports on Wednesday that Wakile received posts congratulating her on the new book, and there was one woman missing from the list. Teresa Giudice has her own dessert line coming out, so this seems to be affecting her relationship with Wakile.

Wakile has been busy promoting her book, “Indulge: Delicious Little Desserts That Keep Life Real Sweet,” and she has been grateful for the support from her former housewives. However, her cousin does not seem to be enthusiastic about the desserts. Giudice has been posting about her own chocolate lava cakes instead of helping Wakile share her cookbook.

Wakile admits she initially wanted Giudice’s input, but she did not get a positive response. The former housewife claims Giudice became upset and showed signs of jealousy because of the cookbook. Wakile adds that her cousin is a hypocrite who did not encourage her cooking. She wants the public to know that she created the recipes ranging from capri mia limoncello tiramisu to caramel apple ravioli on her own. Nevertheless, she does not want fans to think there is a family feud and insists she still talks to her cousin.

The viewers of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” allegedly persuaded Wakile to focus on desserts. She states the cookbook is completely original and does not want fans to think she is using Giudice’s ideas. Wakile may be concerned because she pointed out a recipe in one of Giudice’s books was similar to one from her mother, so revenge is a possibility. Although Wakile admits she is using altered versions of her mother’s recipes in some cases, she wants readers to understand they are not identical.
