Every year Kathy Griffin co-hosts CNN's New Year's Live coverage with Anderson Cooper.
Every year, Kathy does something wild, a bit risque, and Anderson just does his best to stop her by holding up his, "No Nudity" " No Swearing" sign and giggles and blushes a little all the while continuing his hosting gig.
This year, Kathy tried a little too hard and some are saying went a bit far, though CNN did not stop airing any of it at all.
In 2009 she kept saying the F word repeatedly, last year she stripped to her bra and underwear, but last night took the cake
Kathy kept trying to grab Anderson's private parts, and kept referring to it on air, calling it putty at one time, and trying her best to make it seem like she was taking care of some business for him, constantly trying to lower herself and make it seem like she was going to perform oral sex on him.
This conversation took place on air;
Kathy: "I'm going to tickle your sack,You can say sack [on air.] That's not bad.”
“I don't know what you're talking about. I have no sack of gifts here, A sack of Christmas presents. I did not bring a sack of Christmas presents." Cooper rambled
That caused Kathy lots of joy and she asked;
"Do you call your private parts your Christmas presents, Typical hot guy."
Anderson, giggled again.
A Twitter follower even said that they should make a drinking game for whenever Anderson giggled at Kathy's jokes.
After Midnight, they joined one of their news correspondent's in Maine and the custom of the town was to kiss the Sardine that dropped like the ball did in Times Square.
That gave Kathy extra fuel and Kathy lowered herself to Anderon's crotch level, kissed his crotch and the conversation went like this;
"Did you drop something,"
“No, I was kissing your sardine,”
“I can do this all night long,"
Anderson then pulled her up and she continued to fight him as she said,
“You know you want to. I am going down"
Anderson then seriously looked at her and said;
“Believe me, I really don't, I never have:
Anderson is openly gay, and though Kathy is his best friend, and they get along great and provide entertainment, some say that Kathy has been taking things a bit far, especially on television.
