Kathy Griffin releases her new book

Kathy Griffin releases her new book on September 8th, and she fully expects to be invited on Oprah for a 3-episode story arch in addition to having her book make it to Oprah’s Book Club selection of the decade. The book is titled Official Book Club Selection all jokes aside, Kathy Griffin’s book will probably do well if her book launch appearances are any indication. She will be on shows like the Today Show, Howard Stern, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Larry King Live, Bill Maher, and Rachel Ray. Kathy has also been invited back to the View as a co-host on September 19th after being banned twice! Check out the video below to catch some of her View antics.

Kathy Griffin’s website says that the book shows her “unplugged, uncensored, and unafraid to dish about what really happens on the road, away from the cameras, and at the star party after the show. Kathy reveals intimate details about her life before and after she made the big time. She opens up about everything from growing up with a dysfunctional family in suburban Illinois to bombing as a young comedian in L.A., from her well-publicized plastic surgery disasters to her highly publicized divorce, and more”.

In addition to releasing her book, Kathy also recently joined numerous other celebrities in posing for the NO H8 campaign. The NO H8 Campaign is a photo protest against Proposition 8. Kathy continues to support the LGBT community by constantly striking up conversations about equality in large public forums including her hit 2-time Emmy Award winning television show, My Life on the D-List.
