Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb ended their booze-free month of January with cocktails Wednesday morning on "Today," Extra reports Feb. 7.
The two women celebrated being sober with large goblets of Colby Red before indulging in cocktails and a shot of vodka. They were truly excited to end a whole month of steering clear of spiked drinks.
"Today" anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker opened up about what it was like around the studio with Kathie Lee and Hoda staying off the booze.
"The makeup room was hell," Lauer said jokingly. "I've never seen crankier, moodier women in my entire life."
"What helped them was that that they continued to drink," Guthrie said. "Behind the set, and during commercials. I think the fact that they didn't stay sober during their month of sobriety really eased the tension around here."
Roker added, "Now that their month is up, they can go back to pillaging, robbing, slashing tires..."
"All I can say about them drinking again is hallelujah," Lauer continued.
No one is more excited about being able to drink again than Kathie Lee and Hoda. They showed incredible strength during their 30-day sobriety!
