Is it possible that Katherine Webb will pose in SI? That’s the rumor buzzing online on Friday after Webb responded to a direct Carson Daly question just days following the Brent Musburger controversy.
In landing the very first interview since Webb gained over 200,000 Twitter followers from the special attention received at this year's BCS title game, Daly asked Katherine if she would ever capitalize on her newfound popularity by posing nude in a men’s magazine.
“Coming from the South, from Alabama, you don’t really want to do anything that your grandma might be embarrassed [by]," she told Daly. "You know the farthest I would probably ever go is probably a swimsuit."
The lack of an outright refusal, and the apparent interest in posing in a bikini, sent social networks ablaze.
But it’s of course not the first time Webb would be seen in a swimsuit, should she be offered to pose for SI.
Katherine Webb is of course a former Miss Alabama USA, which means she’s strutted on stage in nothing but a bikini before in order to garner votes. So posing in Sports Illustrated may not be much of a stretch, especially since she’s getting more and more comfortable with being in the limelight.
