A Katherine Webb Super Bowl 2013 appearance is coming soon. The beautiful reigning Miss Alabama and girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron has reportedly landed a correspondence gig with the "Inside Edition" television show.
As reported on Jan. 16 by UPI.com, Webb will be covering Super Bowl XLVII, the 47th edition of the big game, in New Orleans. Webb first rose to fame not just as Miss Alabama, but also as AJ's talked-about girlfriend during the Notre Dame vs. Alabama BCS Championship game. The game, shown on ESPN, included some offbeat commentary and ogling via Brent Musburger. That commentary made headlines, which of course has translated to fame for the beautiful young star-in-the-making.
Webb has since tweeted about her excitement over the news saying:
"So excited to be chosen to cover the Super Bowl XLVII for @InsideEdition in New Orleans!"
With Webb gaining so much attention from Brent Musberger's comments on her beauty during the BCS game, she may owe him a thank you tweet for the extra exposure. Do you think he deserves credit for helping bring her to the attention of the masses, and "Inside Edition" staff?
Super Bowl 47 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Feb, 3, with the big game getting TV coverage on CBS. Webb's reports may be aired at both earlier and later dates and times during "Inside Edition" though. Roanoke viewers can catch "Inside Edition" on local NBC affiliate station WSLS 10 weekdays at 7:30 p.m. EST, and "Inside Edition Weekend" on Sundays at 6:30 p.m. EST.
