Katherine Webb, AJ McCarron's girlfriend, reacted to ESPN commentator, Brent Musburger's comments during the Alabama vs. Notre Dame BCS game Monday night. When the camera picked out the 2012 Miss Alabama beauty queen in the crowd, Musburger commented on what a beautiful woman she is and how lucky Alabama's quarterback is to have her as his girlfriend.
According to TMZ Jan. 8, Webb is "flattered" by the attention she received from the 73-year-old announcer.
"I laughed hysterically," Webb said. "I was flattered ... and slightly embarrassed ... but I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I never expected that."
Due to Musburger's bold compliments, some thought what he said was inappropriate and referred to it as "creepy." McCarron's girlfriend disagreed.
"I've been reading on Twitter that Musburger had backlash that he's 'Creepy' ... if I were to see him I would say, 'I don’t think you're creepy at all!'"
Musburger must be pleased to hear that!
As for Webb's Twitter followers, she's gaining more by the minute. As of early afternoon Tuesday, her number of followers is going up to 150,000.
"I had 2,300 followers on Twitter yesterday ... in the past 24 hours, I have gained over 125,000."
