Katherine Webb was the real star of the BCS national championship game on Monday. Webb, who is the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback, AJ McCarron, became an overnight sensation after getting a ton of airtime during the broadcast.
It all started when commentator, Brent Musburger, made a big deal about how beautiful Katherine was on television. Musburger made comments like “wow,” and basically told boys to be a football player so that they can land girls as gorgeous as Katherine.
While Katherine Webb took no offense to the comments, she immediately became a huge overnight celebrity. Webb's Twitter account blew up,with new followers all suddenly wanting to know more about the young beauty, even NBA star LeBron James began following her, and she was even asked out by NFL player, who tweeted her his phone number. Sounds like trouble.
