It's been awhile since Michael Jackson was found dead from a drug overdose. His untimely death sent shock waves across the world. In fact there were hopes among many of us that this was all some kind of a nasty rumor and that the King of Pop was still alive. His mother, 83 year old Katherine Jackson, has vowed to take Dr Conrad Murray down in regard to her son's death, reports TVNZ on Dec. 7, 2013.
It appears to be a mission of Katherine Jackson's to take Dr. Conrad Murray down because of what she continues to feel was his direct responsibility for her son's death. Katherine Jackson is extremely upset with Dr. Murray, who spent two years in prison for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson. Globe magazine says a source has commented about Dr. Murray, saying, "He's a delusional liar who's only out for himself. Katherine's been hurt so much by this man and yet he continues to bring more and more pain."
This entire affair grew uglier when it was reported Paris Jackson, Michael's 15 year old daughter, tried to kill herself in June. She was apparently so upset about her father's death she just didn't want to be alive any longer. Paris is recovering now, and her mother, Debbie Rowe, has also been very critical of Dr. Murray, saying, "A Jackson fan will shoot him dead ....and I'd buy the bullet."
NBC News reports that Michael Jackson's family is seeking a new wrongful death trial against concert promoter AEG. Court documents have been filed by the family of the late singer Michael Jackson, indicating they are seeking a new trial in a wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG. In October a Los Angeles jury cleared the company of liability. In the wrongful death lawsuit it was claimed the concert promoter had acted negligently by hiring Murray to be Jackson's personal physician. However, a jury concluded Murray was properly qualified for his job.
It should help the Jackson family to know the pain of the loss of Michael Jackson at 50 years old is living on with a lot of people across the world. There will never be another entertainer with the same talent and intense feelings he shared with his performances. It is very sad Michael Jackson was not in the hands of an expert in natural health care, in which case he would probably still be alive and sharing his music with us today.
