Jackson family parents Katherine and Joe Jackson have agreed to appear on their daughter and "Celebrity Apprentice" star La Toya Jackson's forthcoming reality series. Breaking the news Tuesday, March 5, OWN confirmed that both parents will appear and in some respects help La Toya on her latest journey.
"On board for her new adventures are La Toya's devoted business partner Jeffré, her legendary mom and dad, a pair of meddlesome matchmakers, a magician, a lovelorn lifeguard and La Toya's lifelong best gal-pal Kathy Hilton," OWN reported Tuesday.
La Toya Jackson is very excited about the series, titled "Life With La Toya," which she says will cover her doing things her way, for the first time, in a while.
"As the middle sibling of the world's most famous family, I've always been surrounded by people telling me what to do. You better get on stage. I don't care what you say. Do it," Jackson said in a preview. "I used to follow along and do what they said from my music to my career choices and yes, even that snake. Someone else has been pulling the strings until now. Things are about to change."
Taking charge of her life, La Toya searches for a new house, builds new business ventures, contemplates starting a family and she jumps into the world of dating in this series.
