Kate Winslet dons Victoria Beckham fashion at Venice Film Festival

Ever loyal Kate Winslet donned a dress by Victoria Beckham, in turn letting British fashion shine at the Venice Film Festival.

The structured midi with its shawl collar and plunging neckline looked a bit 1940s but brought into the new millenium. The sandy color was a bit off for Kate, but Winslet still was stunning even when not wearing the ideal hue for this screen veteran of the red carpet.

Winslet in Beckham was for the film Carnage, whereas later in the week, Kate changed to a white/nude/black Stella McCartney (still keeping British fashion on show), a snug affair at the Mildred Pierce premiere that made this prolific actress into the blonde bombshell the sometimes vixen -- and the thespian who once had a nude scene with Leonardo DiCaprio -- has the ability to become. Good on you, Kate Winslet!
