Kate Upton on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover for second year in a row (Photos)

The beautiful and sexy 20-year-old Kate Upton, also famous for her captivating sense of humor, first appeared in the pages of the “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue” in 2011 when she was named SI's Rookie of the Year. In 2012, the blond model and actress graduated to the cover of the famed swimsuit issue.

And yesterday it was announced that for the second year running, Kate will again be the cover model for the 2013 SI swimsuit issue.

The big difference for the 2013 SI issue is that the photo shoot took place in Antarctica and had a "Polar Bare" theme, meaning Kate’s wardrobe for this issue’s cover included a winter coat instead of a bikini.

After the news broke that Upton was the cover girl for the 2013 swimsuit issue, Kate tweeted:

"We can finally talk about Antarctica!!!!!...Took us 2 months to thaw out."

Reportedly, it was 30 degrees out during Kate’s 2013 SI photo shoot.
