Rumor has it that Kate Upton will be shot in zero gravity. The Huffington Post reported on Jan. 10 that the model was “shot in a zero-gravity chamber in a silver swimsuit”. The news site got its information from a post on Page Six, which disappeared on the site for a short time.

Upton has already posed nearly naked in freezing Antarctica temperatures for the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Posing in zero gravity shouldn’t be a big deal, right? Maybe it will be easier than posing in freezing temperatures. Upton told the press that her had body shut down because it was so cold.

This year’s annual issue includes an outer space theme. Imagine attractive models defying gravity in tiny bikinis.

It doesn’t sound completely crazy. Last year, Jimmy Fallon joked to Upton that she should do a photo shoot in space. He joked, “There’s no gravity.” It seems like Sports Illustrated listened to Jimmy’s wishes.

Kate Upton was kind of shot in space before. She was seen lounging on the moon in a Vanity Fair photo shoot last year. The 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue hits newsstands in mid February.
