Kate Moss visited the Coty factory yesterday to see how production of Vintage Muse, her new fragrance, was coming along. The Coty factory is located in Granollas near Barcelona where Kate Moss was able to see sixty bottles of Vintage Muse produced per minute, around the clock. Vintage Muse by Kate Moss hit store shelves in Silicon Valley last September 2010; the popularity of the celebrity scent has created a large demand for Vintage Muse by Kate Moss.
Kate Moss was taken on a tour of the factory where she posed for pictures and autographed bottle of her Vintage Muse fragrance. Kate Moss completed her visit through the Coty factory by meeting with her perfumer, Frank Volkl, who created Vintage Muse. In the meeting, Kate Moss discussed with Frank Volkl how her inspiration for Vintage Muse came from an Andy Warhol image. Kate Moss felt the image displayed a strong, iconic feel which is what she wanted for her Vintage Muse fragrance. Kate Moss said she designed Vintage Muse for the strong, confident woman and she also spoke about how she loves the sexy, evening feel of Vintage Muse’s musky base. Musk is the key note which Vintage Muse by Kate Moss is built.
Kate Moss also revealed that she keeps a bottle of Vintage muse in her handbag and will not leave the house without the bottle in her bag.
From Coty: “Perfumer Frank Volkl explained that musk was chosen as the centrepiece of Vintage Muse as it's such a favourite scent of Kate's, and represents her sensuality and femininity. This warm, velvety note is dressed with a touch of flowers and fruit for freshness, and chocolate for maximum addiction”
