Supermodel Kate Moss and Kills front man Jamie Hince got married on this weekend in Gloucestershire, England.
For the ceremony, Moss wore a white lace veil embroidered with flowers and a vintage-inspired gown with sheer paneling and sequins designed by controversial designer John Galliano. Galliano made world-wide headlines and was recently on trial for making anti-Semitic rants. The designer was fired from Christian Dior at the height of the controversy.
The bridesmaids wore white dresses, ballerina flats and floral garlands.
The groom wore a tuxedo desgined by Yves Saint Laurent as did his best woman, Kills singer Alison Mosshart.
According to US Magazine, the bride was driven to the wedding ceremony in a silver Rolls Royce.
Among the friends and family in attendnace were the bride's father and her 8 year old daugther, maid of honor and longtime friend Trish Simonon, Clash bassist Paul Simonon, actress Sadie Frost, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Daphne Guinness. Frost's daughter, Iris Law, served as a bridesmaid.
The wedding reception is said to be a three-day event inspried by the theme of "Casablanca."
Vogue UK is reporting that Moss will wear three different Stella McCartney outfits following the ceremony, including a oyster silk chiffon dress, a mini beaded dress and a white wool three-piece suit.
Moss was discovered at age 14 and soon became the most popular model in England and around the world in the 90s. She has also has been very successful behind the scenes of the fashion industry, having designed a clothing line for Topshop and purses for Longchamp.
