Kate Moss made quite the appearance at the 2014 BRIT Awards. The 90s supermodel wore one of David Bowie’s iconic costumes to accept the “Best British Male” award on his behalf, according to a Feb. 20 report from People.

Moss wore one of Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust costumes to the award show. Behind her was a photo of Bowie in his iconic rabbit jumper from 1972. The costume was designed by Kansai Yamamoto.

The iconic costume also made an appearance at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum. Moss paired the costume with black opaque tights, high heels and bangle bracelets.

Moss didn’t resort to neon makeup or a Ziggy Stardust mullet. Instead, she wore her blonde hair with a middle part. She also opted for natural makeup for her rocker look.

Moss then read a statement from Bowie: “In Japanese myth the rabbits from my old costume that Kate’s wearing live on the moon. ‘Kate comes from Venus and I from Mars, so that’s nice. I’m completely delighted to have a Brit for being the best male, but I am, aren’t I Kate? I think it’s a great way to end the day.”

Could it be that Moss is Bowie's latest muse? It wouldn’t be a surprise as she has been a muse to countless designers over the years. It would be exciting to see a Kate Moss and David Bowie mash up on the runways at the next Fashion Week.
