Tabloids on both sides of the Atlantic have been reporting that Kate Middleton is expecting a second baby. At Britain’s betting parlors, "an announcement is thought to be immenent," said Metro on July 15, 2014. But Inquisitr News admits that the “The Royal Palace Remains Silent On Reports of a Second Pregnancy.” How did the rumors start? Fingers are being pointed at Kate’s childhood friend, Jessica Hay, who supposedly told an Australian news source. But her credibility is being questioned. Even the Inquisitr noted on July 15, 2014 that Hay said she heard the news from friends of friends.
Gossip Cop tells all
Gossip Cop revealed on July 14, 2014 that they learned from a royal source that that Hay and Middleton have not, “been in touch in years.” Although Hay seemed to be in the know the first time regarding a Middleton pregnancy, does she have first hand information this time? It appears from the Inquisitr that she does not. And Gossip Cop derided one tabloid with regard to Middleton noting, “unlike HollywoodLife, Gossip Cop doesn’t just copy and paste. Instead, we did some investigating.” As such it is safe to say that little Prince George may be getting a sibling, but it may not be in the near future.
What's the real story?
Most remember Hay as the woman who correctly spilled the beans about the first baby two weeks before the royal announcement. It was in December 2012 that you read here that the baby buzz was not going away. The tabloids were talking about parenting and a Christmas baby announcement. The gossip all stemmed from a former school friend of Kate's, Jessica Hay. Is the Duchess of Cambridge really expecting? As always we await news from the palace. However, the gossip will continue and as rightly pointed out by the Sydney Morning Herald on July 15, 2014, the tabloids are indeed in a tizzy.
