Kate Middleton put her pregnancy style and burgeoning baby bump on display during a visit to London's Baker Street Underground Station on March 20. The event, which was also attended by Queen Elizabeth II, celebrated 150 years of the Tube, London's subway system.
Middleton, 31, donned an elegant green Malene Birger coat with a flared hem and black velvet trim that accentuated her lean, athletic physique. Kate, who is doing well after suffering extreme morning sickness during her first trimester, visited the offices of Child Bereavement UK the previous day.
The Duchess of Cambridge is about five months pregnant but has maintained her sleek, lithe figure by staying active and watching her diet. Her uncle, Gary Goldsmith, says Kate will be a fantastic mom. Goldsmith is the brother of Kate's mom, Carole Middleton.
"She is incredibly grounded," Goldsmith told Hello! "Kate's going to make a brilliant mum. You couldn't want for a better kid, and that's going to shine through with her as a parent. She is so kind-hearted, a beautiful girl inside and out. She is this confident, clever, caring girl who has taken her responsibilities in marriage and job incredibly seriously."
Middleton is due in July.
