Kate Middleton showed off her jaw-dropping post-baby weight loss at the 2013 Tusk Conservation Awards in London Sept. 12. Middleton, 31, wore a sleeveless sequined Jenny Packham gown that accentuated her toned arms and tiny waist.
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, was on hand to support her husband, Prince William, who presented two awards at the Africa-conservation event. Judging by her willowy figure, it's hard to believe the Duchess gave birth just seven weeks ago.
The athletic Middleton has made headlines for losing the baby weight quickly without exercising or dieting obsessively. "[Kate has] hardly done anything to lose the weight but looks incredible," a Middleton family source told Us. "A few weeks after George was born, you could hardly tell she had just given birth.
"Kate's still breastfeeding, and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off. She's not dieting. After giving birth, she did continue with her yoga."
Fitness experts underscore that the best way to shed baby weight quickly is to minimize weight gain during pregnancy by staying active and not overeating.
It's no surprise that Middleton slimmed down in record time. The Duchess, a former star high-school athlete, is a longtime fitness fanatic who worked out an hour a day and followed a healthy, portion-controlled diet before and during pregnancy.
