Kate Middleton took part in a youth-oriented volleyball game on Oct. 18. This was the Duchess of Cambridge's first solo appearance in a formal capacity since the royal baby was born, and Catherine looked as fit as could be for the challenge.
According to People, this Kate Middleton outing on Friday meant Prince George was at home, possibly asleep. Meanwhile, the tyke's athletic mom took to the court at London's Olympic Park to show off her volleyball skills.
While doing just that, the pretty brunette was rocking some fairly high heels to compliment her outfit that included navy jeggings and a striped shirt topped by a tailored jacket.
That said, although Kate's featured purpose was in regard to handling the red-and-white ball, her primary purpose for being on hand at this now storied London venue was due to her role as patron of a beloved charity known as SportsAid.
SportsAid is a UK-based charity that financially supports both youthful and aspiring athletes who need the monetary assistance. Those who gain help from this popular charity typically range between 12 and 18, and many are considered Olympic hopefuls.
And so, as Kate Middleton's volleyball game spiked interest in SportsAid and, in turn, potential British Olympians of the future, the Duchess donned high heels in order to prove her point. Or, in her case, make that her points.
