Kate Middleton's shoe mishap and baby talk with a soldier (Video)

Kate Middleton's day looked to be going well until a small shoe mishap at the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The mother to be got her heel stuck in a grate, but she didn't miss a beat and managed to keep her smile, according to E News on Sunday, March 17, 2013.

Kate was decked out in a classy looking green ensemble, the colors of the holiday, when she took a step and got stuck. She gracefully held on to her husband and bent down to pull the shoe out of the grate in the pavement. This isn't the only news on Kate coming out of the St. Patrick's Day Parade today.

Kate is reported to have chatted with a soldier during the event and he asked her whether she was hoping for a boy or a girl. Kate told this unnamed member of the military that she hoped for a boy and William was hoping for a girl. She then quipped, “isn't that always the way.

The soldier asked her if she knew if the baby is a boy or a girl yet and Kate said they didn't know. As far as a name for the royal baby, Kate told this soldier that she and William haven't picked out a name for a boy or a girl as of yet.

There you have it, Kate's shoe mishap isn't the only news coming from the most famous royal couple in the world today. Baby talk with a soldier didn't reveal much in the way of news, but it did dispel the rumors of baby names and the baby's gender which have saturated the online world recently!
