American women are requesting a Kate Middleton nose now more than ever, according to a new report. “They are looking for a natural nose on a beautiful woman and the Duchess is in the news all the time,” Manhattan-based Dr Thomas Romo III tells the New York Daily News on March 14. The popularity of the duchess' nose with woman in the U.S. follows a similar plastic surgery craze in Europe, which Examiner.com previously reported.
Experts say there are a number of reason woman are seeking a nose like the Duchess of Cambridge. “Women, especially over the age of 28, want the nose of a woman who is regal, refined and strong," Romo said. The plastic surgeon, who has 20 women on the books for royal nose jobs in the next month, says it's the same reason Jennifer Aniston's nose is often requested. The trend is only switching to Kate Middleton now because she's in the news a lot. "It has become so popular that we have made a file of a dozen Kate Middleton pictures to show patients when they come in for their consultation.”
Other facial experts have called Kate's nose perfectly straight, rounded, in proportion with her face, and just the right amount of nostril.
Women seeking rhinoplasties are reportedly paying upwards of $12,000 to get that perfect Kate Middleton nose.
