Kate Middleton's heel gets stuck in the street; Prince William to the rescue (Photos)

The Duchess of Cambridge literally had to lean on Prince William today (Sunday) at the St. Patrick's Day Military Parade when the heel of her shoe got stuck in a grate in the street. In photos obtained by Examiner.com, the now obviously pregnant Kate Middleton can be seen giggling as she tries to free what the Daily Mail describes as "four inch" black high heel.

2012 vs 2013: Recycled coat shows off Kate Middleton's baby bump

Prince William and another member of the military also cracked a smile as the duchess had to literally lean down to pull her stiletto out of the street drain. Fortunately, it was nothing compared to the drama at least year's parade when a member of the military fainted while Her Royal Highness was handing out shamrock springs. In fact, Kate's stuck heel made for a bright spot on what was a very dreary day in Aldershot.

Still, while the duchess' footwear malfunction may otherwise have grabbed major headlines, it's only a footnote thanks to her baby bump which stole the show. Wearing the same green coat dress she wore for last year's St. Patrick's Day Parade, it was obvious just how much the royal baby bump has popped.
