Kate Middleton pregnant: Duchess soothes stomach with chicken soup

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has not yet moved completely past the morning sickness that plagued her earlier months of pregnancy. But sources say she has a new, nourishing remedy on her daily table that can cure almost anything. That would be the ever-present chicken soup. According to Entertainmentwise on Friday, Jan. 18, Duchess Catherine is eating a lot of chicken soup. And she’s loving it. Just the heady aroma can soothe a reluctant stomach.

The idea must be working. The pregnant Kate Middleton has been photographed out and about more often in the past week or two, and she’s looking her usual, glamorous self. The glossy, waved hair is on display. And most important, that radiant Kate Middleton smile is back in place. When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unveiled her new portrait last week at the National Portrait Gallery, the duchess positively glowed with health. Or perhaps she glowed with pregnancy. Or both.

But one working remedy does not mean Duchess Catherine has given up on all the other classic morning sickness cures that have been suggested. The Queen, herself, is said to have advised her granddaughter-in-law to try Earl Grey tea and ginger nut biscuits. Since Kate Middleton has been seen buying cookies more than once, recently, she may find some value in this old folk remedy.

Everyone is interested in a baby on the way, and Kate Middleton’s coming prince or princess is a source of fascination around the world. She may start a global run on chicken soup.
