Kate Middleton never said ‘it’s a girl’

At the first of the week a pregnant Kate Middleton was visiting the seaport of Grimsby; where many believed the Duchess of Cambridge revealed the sex of the baby with a slight slip of the tongue. New reports on the Mirror, March 9, show clearly the princess never muttered “d..” as told by Sandra Cook, 67.

Cook was standing next to Kate in the crowd when Diana Burton, 41, handed Middleton a teddy bear. Kate took the bear and said “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d…” before she quickly bit her tongue. Cook told reporters that she pressed on by saying, “You were going to say daughter, weren’t you?”

Kate said, “No, ..we don’t know,” meaning her and Prince William did not know the sex of the baby. Sandra replied to her with, “Oh, I think you do.” More than once the couple has stated they plan to keep the baby's gender a secret. At this time the Internet was full of claims that the royal couple would be having a girl.

But that is not the case; at least, that is not how the story happened and no one really knows the baby's gender except for Kate and William. A new cell phone video has surfaced from Lisa Hewson, 32, who was standing next to Diana. In the video you can clearly hear Burton say, “Here you go, Kate, for the baby.” Middleton graciously accepts the toy and says, “Oh, is this for us? Thank you so much, that’s very sweet of you.”

Maybe Sandra Cook only heard what she wanted to hear due to the excitement. We certainly don’t want to believe she was trying to sell a story. What do you think? Sound off in the comments below.
