Kate Middleton, who has been making headlines for her amazing post-baby weight loss, wowed fans during a surprise appearance at the kick-off of the 2013 Ring O'Fire Anglesey Coastal Ultra Marathon in Holyhead, Wales, on Aug. 30.
The statuesque Middleton looked elegant and slender in a teal blazer, patterned blouse and black skinny pants just six weeks after giving birth to son George.
The crowd gathered at the 135-mile race couldn't stop raving about how beautiful Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, looked.
"The Duchess is absolutely beautiful," Andrea Hall, whose husband is running the marathon, told People. "She looks amazing! I can't believe she had a baby only a month ago." Lisa Hirst agreed wholeheartedly. "She looked beautiful. Isn't she beautiful?" she gushed.
Middleton, 31, appears to have lost almost all the weight she gained while pregnant, but the willowy 5-foot-9 brunette stunner has not been exercising or dieting obsessively to slim down.
"[Kate has] "hardly done anything to lose the weight but looks incredible," a Middleton family source told Us. "A few weeks after George was born, you could hardly tell she had just given birth.
"Kate's still breastfeeding, and the small weight she gained while pregnant has just melted off. She's not dieting. After giving birth, she did continue with her yoga."
Weight-loss experts underscore that the best way to lose baby weight quickly is to minimize weight gain during pregnancy by not overeating and staying active.
It's no surprise that Middleton has shed the baby weight in record. The Duchess, a former star high-school athlete, is a longtime fitness fanatic who worked out an hour a day and followed a healthy, portion-controlled diet before getting pregnant.
