According to the New York Daily News on Monday, Kate Middleton and Prince William are not expecting twins.
This could be a good thing since their child will be 3rd in line for the throne and how would they decide who would be 3rd and who would be 4th if they were having two? They won't have to worry about breaking up that argument ... at least this time around.
The royal baby is apparently expected to make an appearance this summer.
“Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July,” a statement from St. James's Palace said. “The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month.”
There has been a great deal of speculation about the royal couple having twins as they run in both families.
More than a few eyebrows raised when Kate was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum which affects one in fifty moms to be and a good portion of them just so happen to be carrying twins. Middleton was hospitalized for three nights.
It’s anyone’s guess as to whether the little bundle is a boy or a girl at this point but you can bet that after the little Australian radio show fiasco with the hospital during Kate’s stay in December, mum’s the word.
