Kate Middleton purchased a $55 dress from Topshop. The Duchess of Cambridge is still very much grounded and humble. US Weekly reported the shocking news on March 2. The celebrity gossip site reported that Kate did some maternity shopping at Topshop over the weekend.
Middleton had her eye on a floral dress, or a frock as they say in London. The dress is designed by Lovestruck, an exclusive collection for the U.K.-based clothing company.
The Deidre dress includes a mandarin collar, a wrap-over neckline and an elastic waist. The waist gives just enough room for Kate's baby bump. The dress only costs 37 pounds or $55.
The designer behind Lovestruck is excited over the news. Erika told US Weekly that she's flattered that Kate purchased her dress. She knows that the Duchess loves to wear high fashion designers.
There's no doubt that the dress will sell out now. Kate Middleton is a fashion icon with women, including pregnant women. Middleton's famous blue Issa wrap dress sold out 24 hours after her engagement to Prince William.
